Hailing from Stoke-on-Trent, England, near the cradle of heavy metal in Birmingham, No Favors are a testament to the relentless spirit of classic rock. The band was formed in the 80s by a group of local musicians including current guitarist Carl Ogden, who has been a strong and constant influence on the band since the early days.
From the early days playing alongside bands such as Saxon, Magnum and Wishbone Ash, to the present day where the band has been revived, Carl and new members Dani J Rankin, Tom Bevan, Pete Challinor and Dan Ogden have created an album of fresh, classic rock songs inspired by the timeless sounds of their history, while also addressing many of the issues currently affecting people around the world.
In early 2024, the group entered the studio and recorded "The Eleventh Hour", which will be released on November 22, 2024 on Pride & Joy Music. The album was recorded, produced and mastered at Lower Lane Studios in Stoke-on-Trent, England by Johnny Price.
