Description

Rock Believer is scheduled to be released as the 19th studio album by German hard rock band Scorpions on February 25, 2022.

It is the first Scorpions studio album with Mikkey Dee on drums. The Swede, longtime drummer for the band Motörhead, replaced James Kottak in 2016.

The band originally wanted to record the album in Los Angeles, but was unable to do so due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The recordings were done at Peppermint Park Studios in Hannover, Germany, and the mixing was done at Hansa Studios by Michael Ilbert. According to Klaus Meine, the focus was again on heavier songs, in line with the style of their eighties albums.

After the release of the album in 2022, the Rock Believer World Tour is to start with concerts in Las Vegas.
