Description
To introduce HERMAN FRANK, the heavy metal veteran rock, is just as useful as carrying wood to the forest or beer to the pub. Since the beginning of the 80s the guitarist has been an integral part of the German metal scene. Starting with ACCEPT, through VICTORY to his solo project started in 2009 and his work as a producer, the Hanoverian has for decades been regarded as a guarantor for uncompromising heavy metal of the very first caliber. Already with the first three albums Frank and his comrades-in-arms caused a storm of enthusiasm, both in the relevant press and among the fans. And the fourth album "Fight The Fear", which is carved from the same wood, won't change that.
Together with MASTERPLAN front tube Rick Altzi, guitarist Heiko Schröder, ex-RAGE drummer André Hilgers and JADED HEART bassist Michael Müller, the musicians show that this is perfect teamwork of a band that has grown together rather than a one-man show of the name giver. With razor-sharp riffs, grandiosen Soli, constantly high-class delivered Singing between melody and hardness and a rhythm fraction that drives every single song forward like clockwork, HERMANN FRANK presents a metal album from one casting. The opener "Until The End" gallops from the first note on like a horde of wild horses and sets the speed, "Terror" is a stomper of the first order, whose ominous groove perfectly matches the mood of the lyrics. Hail Row" lets you catch your breath for a moment, the band continues with the usual tempo and without taking prisoners, until the hard rockers make stainless steel cry with the ballad "Lost In Heaven" at the end.
