The Swedish power quartet MEAN STREAK has been delighting the metal world for over 10 years now with uncompromising "Fist in your Face" Metal. With their four albums so far, they have gathered fans all over the world, and the upcoming album No. 5 "Eye Of The Storm" will certainly not change that. The influences of Mean Streak reach far back into the 80s without sounding old-school, on the contrary: That's how classic metal has to sound today. Screaming guitars, pressure and power from the base and a voice that doesn't have to hide behind the Halfords & Co of this world. This is proven by the eleven new pieces from the pen of the proven duo Andersson / La Guerin. The Swedes produced the album themselves, the mix was done by Max Norman, on whom in the past stars like Ozzy Osbourne, Megadeth, Lynch Mob or Y&T trusted.
