The band's focus was singer Frank Mancano, whose style and timbre was immediately compared to the likes of Lou Gramm, Joe Lynn Turner and Steve Perry. The band was signed to ATCO, Atlantic Records' sister label, and the album was released in October 1986. Despite endlessly strong songs like 'Time Soldier', 'Breakdown', 'Standin' and the stunning 'Double Shot Of Love', the album is now considered one of the great lost treasures of the late AOR eighties. Rock Candy is now releasing the remaster of this criminally underrated record including new mastering, new liner notes including an interview and archive photos.
