AOR from the far north of Germany. The Kiel-based band SACRED SEASON released two albums in the 1990s that are now very sought-after: "Sacred Season" (1994) and "No Man's Land" (1998). These are now being re-released as part of the Pride & Joy Music Classixx with an extended booklet, remastered - and in the case of "No Man's Land" even with two bonus tracks - and limited to 500 copies each. You have to love singer and guitarist Marco Schultz and the guys, if only for the fact that they celebrate pure melodic rock, and that in a more than dark time for the genre. Fantastic melodies ("I Won't Forget") and also a decent rock factor ("Child Hunter") are on offer. Grab it! (MS)
