His expressive and virtuoso guitar style has been a model and inspiration for other musicians and aspiring guitarists for over 35 years. Apart from his career with Yes, Asia and GTR, he also has an impressive number of solo albums to his credit. It's here where he goes beyond the boundaries of progressive rock and explores a somewhat quieter side as well as touching on elements of jazz, blues and even a little bit of country. Whilst the album "Skyline" (2002) had a much more relaxed feel to it and "Elements" (2003) was more traditional, his latest release "Spectrum" displays a much broader 'spectrum' of musical colours and even a few experiments with elements from other cultures.
