2013, Two years have passed again and a lot has happened in the Coronatus family! Their original front lady Carmen Loch, who left the band after the 3rd album to take care of her family, is back again on the 5th and new studio album RECREATIO CARMINIS! There have also been changes in the songwriting process. The following principle applied: Back to the roots! The album title RECREATIO CARMINIS (= the recreation of the song) can be taken serious here! The new material is more catchy and melodic than the songs on the previous album TERRA INCOGNITA. The technical aspects were reduced in order to point out the melody and the catchiness of the new album. According to the sound, they focused on the strengths of LUX NOCTIS and PORTA OBSCURA! They still use a lot of progressive elements, especially in the rhythm section of the compositions.
