ANGELWINGS Primordium

Angelwings from Gibraltar was formed in 2013, first as a Nightwish cover band. Soon own songs were written and Angelwings became the first symphonic metal band from Gibraltar. The band is led by vocalist Davinia Duran, Ismael (drums), Dani Duran (bass) and Carlos Alvarez-Nava (guitar). In 2019, David Duran (Dani's second brother) joins as second guitarist. The album focuses on a heavier guitar sound, but without neglecting its orchestral and synth sounds. It is a concept album that goes back to their beginnings, back to where it all started. This story tells us about a lost soul that fights for freedom with the help of the gods themselves. Features are provided by wind instrument musician Jeroen Goosens and Carlos Alvarez on vocals (guitarist with Power Theory, Shadowdance). For fans of Nightwish, Within Temptation, Xandria.
