The sound produced by Tommy Newton at Area 51 Recording Studios is even more powerful and clear than on the previous album "Respice Finem" and reflects the band's live sound perfectly. As always with Velvet Viper, the lyrics are mostly fantasy, but also refer to literary works: "The Wheel Has Come Full Circle" was inspired by Shakespeare's "King Lear" and "Götterdämmerung" by Richard Wagner's "Der Ring der Nibelungen". But also "Samson And Delilah", which tells the story of the invincible rebel from the Bible, or "One-Eyed Ruler", which was inspired by Nordic mythology and deals with Odin who sacrificed his eye, can be found on the album. All songs fit exactly to the epic and often dark heavy metal of the traditional school that awaits the listener on this album.
