Stray Gods Storm The Walls

Stray Gods is the brainchild of multi-instrumentalist, songwriter & producer Bob Katsionis From his early days playing dark metal with Nightfall, black metal with Septic Flesh, through the glittering AOR heroes Outloud, German power metallers Serious Black, his 15 years alongside Gus G. in Firewind, as a guest songwriter in Kamelot, his recent work in the underground sensation of Warrior Path, and of course six instrumental solo albums in between, Bob has always been a highly productive force in the burgeoning Greek heavy metal scene. After playing some Iron Maiden riffs on a newly purchased bass guitar, he decided it was time to write new music in the spirit of Iron Maiden. Some time later he had music for a new album and it was time to recruit some friends to finish the album. He found Gus Macricostas and Thanos Pappas (bass and drums) and Dan Baune, the multitalented virtuoso, to play the solos of the album. The last and most important part was the vocals and this is where Artur Almeida of Attick Demons came in. The most suitable voice for such a project. "Storm The Walls" is a collection of eight NWOBHM anthems, each of which represents a different spectrum in the history of the genre and is a must for all true heavy metal fans
