Later Sons Rise Up

The LATER SONS go on a time travel through the decades of rock and AOR from the eighties until today. They deliver songs with a lot of hit potential and fine hooklines that don't sound dusty or old-fashioned. Rather, they sound exciting throughout the record. The compositions on "Rise Up" meet contemporary production and mixing. Authentic sounds from authentic players and lovers of the rock genre. Experienced artists who know their craft. Founding members are former LIONCAGE musicians Thorsten Bertermann (v) and Torsten Landsberger (dr), who sparked the flame at the end of 2019 after the split of LIONCAGE. After several line-up changes, especially on guitars, the current line-up is ready to strike. The debut shows the full range of rock and AOR influences of all involved. They represent a cool mixture of typical eighties stadium rock, spiced up with AOR and a pinch of Southern Rock. The album was produced and mixed by Torsten Landsberger, except for "Follow Your Dream" which was mixed by Pete Woj and "Eye Of The Storm" which was mixed by Steve Hardy; mastering by Sterling Sound and artwork by Tim Eckhorst.
