To tell the full story of Hardline's new studio album, Shout, we must mention their 1992 classic, Double Eclipse. It was then that the unique artistic DNA of this fabulous hard rock formation was created and almost perfected with the very first draft. Since then, Hardline has released six more studio albums, all of which are highlights of the genre. With "Shout," the group led by American singer Johnny Gioeli (Axel Rudi Pell, Crush 40) and his Italian colleagues, keyboardist Alessandro Del Vecchio, guitarist Luca Princiotta, bassist Anna Portalupi, and drummer Marco Di Salvia, now ties in with their 1992 masterpiece more accurately than ever before. "On the current album, you'll find the choruses that are typical for us and the classic songwriting of 'Double Eclipse,' but with contemporary production and a modern sound. The album gives you the feeling of rolling down your car window and turning up the radio as loud as possible," says Johnny Gioeli, describing the ten new songs, adding: "This band doesn't want to reinvent its music. Hardline is Hardline, and as a fan, you know what to expect from us!"
