When the number of Dead Heads, the sworn fan circle of GRATEFUL DEAD , rose steadily during the great summer tours in the late 1970s, the usual live concerts became increasingly too small for GRATEFUL DEAD. In 1987 at the latest, they had to move to the stadiums in order to accommodate the growth of a completely new generation of fans, who were hit by "Touch Of Grey", the band's first and only top 10 single.

The June 17, 1991 show is generally considered one of the greatest shows that GRATEFUL DEAD have ever played in the last decade of their performance activities - previously unreleased!
