Dawn Of Destiny have always been too diverse to be fully represented by the term "Power Metal", although their sound is rooted in this genre. The mixture of melodic metal, dark as well as musical-like influences and Jeanette Scherf's great vocal performance make DawnOf Destiny a pretty unique phenomenon in today's musical landscape. And although their sound is sorrowful and versatile, nothing sounds forced or overambitious. Jens Faber, bandleader, songwriter and bassist, has a special talent for writing songs that are exciting and surprise with creativity far off the beaten track. This also makes this new (her 7th) album, 'The Beast Inside' such an adventure. It's a roller coaster ride that finds its atmospheric finale from catchy tracks like 'Already Dead' or 'Fight Your Inner Demon' in the beautiful final piano ballad 'Longing'. The mix and mastering of 'The Beast Inside' was done by Dennis Köhne (Orden Ogan, Lacuna Coil, Sodom).
