After the breakthrough of their first album 'Moving Backwards' and the two EPs 'The Path' and 'The Divide' Wheel now release their new album 'Resident Human' as double vinyl with etching and as digipak. The seven (partly up to 12 minutes long) progressive metal songs are about the symbolic deconstruction of humanity and are partly inspired by the science fiction novel 'Hyperion Cantos' by Dan Simmons. The common thread in all the songs is what it means to be human - in all our glory and ugliness. With 'Resident Human', Wheel describe the ashes we have seen fall in 2020, giving voice to our fallible nature.
