Van Halen The Japanese Singles 1978 - 1984

13 singles released VAN HALEN between 1978 and 1984, which now all appear in a new 7-inch vinyl package on Rhino. Each of the specially replicated singles for the collection comes with the original artwork on the sleeve and appears in a box modeled after a pack of cigarettes.

The originals of The Japanese Singles 1978-1984 accompanied the first six VAN HALEN albums recorded by guitarist Eddie Van Halen, drummer Alex Van Halen, singer David Lee Roth and bassist Michael Anthony. The albums range from the band's debut album, named Van Halen, to the 1984 album, both of which were awarded US Diamond for more than 10 million sales. This extraordinary success secured them a place at the
RIAA Short-List of the extremely rare Double Diamond Award holders.

The versions correspond to the album versions of every song except In the case of "Hot For Teacher", which was released in a unique single edit together with the single edits of "(Oh) Pretty Woman" and "I'll Wait" exclusively in Japan.
