2012, For their third album, HOLD ON, LIBERTY!, The Intersphere never strays far from where they've been. There's lots to be side for consistency. Although calling them a ´progressive` melodic rock band anymore may be a slight misnomer. Increasingly, The Intersphere is sounding more like a modern post-punk, post-grunge, alternative rock band, equivalent to much of the fodder in more mainstream circles, happily available in the US and most elsewhere. The songs are short and catchy, having a pop feel, adding more to their accessibility than intrigue. If anything, there's an edgier side to HOLD ON, LIBERTY!, as on some songs like ,,Masquerade", ,,Sleeping God" or ,,Capitall". But any of these tunes can also describe the aforementioned nebulous melodic alt rock signature.
