Description
While RUSH recorded their last studio album Clockwork Angels in 2010, they took a break from studio work in the middle of the recording sessions to go on their Time Machine tour. During this tour, members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame recorded their performance in Cleveland on April 15, 2011. It was a fitting tribute to the city where RUSH were first played on the radio.
The epic concert was already released on CD in 2011, but the entire show has never been released on vinyl. Until now. Time Machine 2011: Live In Cleveland will be released on June 7th as a 4 LP set!
Also thanks to the incredible setlist, which contained songs from the entire career of the band, The Time Machine Tour immediately became a fan favorite. Another reason is that Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and Neil Peart did something during the shows on the tour they had never done before: they played their platinum four-time album Moving Pictures from 1981 in full length!
Musically Time Machine 2011: Live In Cleveland with 26 tracks is a wide spread band: The early days of RUSH are represented by songs like Working Man from the 1974 debut, 2112 Overture from the 1976 classic 2112 and Closer To The Heart from A Farewell To Kings (1977).
