Tobias Sammet ´s AVANTASIA will release his 8th studio album "Moonglow" on February 15, 2019 and will surprise his fans with it: opulent, detailed, melancholic and above all personal, it is artistically as outstanding as the fascinating cover artwork of the renowned Swedish artist Alexander Jansson. In addition to well-known AVANTASIA guest singers like Michael Kiske (HELLOWEEN), Ronnie Atkins (PRETTY MAIDS), Eric Martin (MR. BIG), Geoff Tate (original QUEENSRYCHE), Jorn Lande and Bob Catley (MAGNUM) as well as new guests like Candice Night (BLACKMORE'S NIGHT), Hansi Kürsch (BLIND GUARDIAN, DEMONS & WIZARDS) and Mille Petrozza (KREATOR).

For more than two years Tobias Sammet has taken time to collect new ideas, to dive into other worlds, to turn his innermost to the outside and to open a new AVANTASIA chapter with "Moonglow". Without any time pressure or obligations and free of concessions to the music market, the singer and songwriter barricaded himself in the specially set up "The Great Mystery" studio and wrote day and night on the new material, until eleven tracks finally joined together to form a work called "Moonglow" which also sets new standards for the artist himself.
