With "Silhouettes" the Krautrock quintet from Aschaffenburg pops out a timeless rock epic. The distinctive vocals, sometimes dreamy and sometimes full of energy, are accompanied by a magical mixture of 1970s uptempo hard rock and progressive psychedelic elements. For a long time epicures of the dramatic-mystical background vocals that once made Uriah Heep or Deep Purple unforgettable had to wait until another "modern" band dared to tinker with this arrangement. The new album clearly marks an increase to their convincing first album, "Path Of Virtue". Vvlva underline in an authentic and courageous way that the intense spirit of organ-heavy hard rock can still bear ripe fruit 50 years after Woodstock.
