Description

Considered one of the founders of the South American extreme metal scene, Vulcano was formed in São Paulo, Brazil in 1981. Struggling with a non-existent infrastructure for this type of music, the band released their debut EP "Om Pushne Namah" in 1983, sung in Portuguese, followed by "Live!" in 1985, the first metal live album ever released in Brazil. In 1986, the five-piece band released their first album "Bloody Vengeance", recorded and mixed by Vulcano himself in 24 hours. The album, which rivaled even then-predecessors Slayer and Kreator in terms of ferocity, quickly became an underground classic and has maintained this status to this day. It's no surprise then that High Roller Records, who already released the group's 2004 LP "Tales from the Black Book" on vinyl in 2012, have prepared the ultimate re-release of "Bloody Vengeance", faithfully restored and remastered by Patrick W. Engel, who, according to the band, "brought all the listenability that should have been there in 1986". "Bloody Vengeance" has been re-released several times over the years and was inferior in every way, especially in terms of sound. Finally experience it as it was originally intended!
