2017, The band Stormburst was formed in July 2014. The original intention just was to make high quality music, have fun, and do what you believe in and without any musical compromises. Bass player Kent Jansson and guitarist Thomas Hansson started with singer Lars-Åke Plåtis Nilsson. To get the special sound that they wanted, they sent the keyboardist Peter Östling a demo, who believed completely in the idea and joined immediately. Later on they recruited the hard hitting drummer Peter Zeke Ytterberg to complete the line-up. Stormburst is the ability to reflect it with music and lyrics. Their style can be described as Melodic Hard Rock and AOR. The band is based in the heartland of Sweden, Dalarna, all the songs were written by Kent, Thomas and Lars-Åke. The debut album RAISED TO ROCK was mainly recorded, mixed and mastered at Studio Bakery, Äppelbo by Jonas Tornemalm. RAISED TO ROCK is a tribute to all musical heroes the members in the Stormburst grew up with.
