Legendary English heavy metal band Saxon have celebrated St. George's Day many times over in their own inimitable fashion, Biff Byford and Co. always looking to shoehorn a show on the 23rd of April into their often busy schedule. ST. GEORGE'S DAY SACRIFICE - LIVE IN MANCHESTER finds the band shifting their usual celebratory London show to more Northern territory, the city's Ritz venue to be exact. Mixed and mastered by Andy Sneap and produced by Biff himself, this new 2-disc live album was recorded just several weeks after the release of SACRIFICE, the band's twentieth studio album, so, as you can imagine, the two-hour long setlist dips heavily into the tracklisting of the new album.
