Description

After switching from Carrere Records, Saxon's seventh album "Innocence Is No Excuse", originally released on June 24, 1985, was the first release on the new label EMI. It was also the last album on which longtime bassist Steve Dawson played, who recorded the album together with singer Biff Byford (guitarists Graham Oliver and Paul Quinn) and drummer Nigel Glockler together with producer Simon Hanhart in Munich's Union Studios. Afterwards the recordings were mixed in the Wisseloord Studios in Hilversum, the Netherlands. This version contains B-sides of the singles "Back On The Streets" and "Rock'n'Roll Gypsy" as well as demo versions of some album tracks recorded at Chapel Studio Thorsby.
