Description

14 years after the release of his last studio album "Book Of Love", Russ Ballard returns with an impressive new album "It's Good To Be Here", followed by an extensive tour of Germany.

Russ Ballard's musical career began at the tender age of 14 when he wrote a song that was recorded by the Shadows and landed on their 1964 album "The Sound Of The Shadows". Over the following years he wrote songs for many other artists. We have Russ Ballard to thank for some of the world's most famous rock/pop classics, including "Since You Been Gone" (Rainbow), " God Gave Rock'n'Roll To You" (Kiss), "So You Win Again" (Hot Chocolate), "New York Groove" (Hello, Ace Frehley), "You Can Do Magic" (America), "Winning" (Santana), and "I Don't Believe In Miracles" (Colin Blunstone).

In the early 70s he became known as the lead singer of Argent. In 1974 he started his solo career. Since then Russ Ballard released nine studio albums and still produces hits. Three songs from his albums released in 1984 and 1985 were used in the world famous TV series Miami Vice and played up and down in European clubs at the time.
