STEELHEART Records is very proud to announce the signing of U.S. band QUADRA NIXX for its glorious "LOST U.S. JEWELS" Series.
QUADRA NIXX were formed in the late '80s in the North Carolina-area and they started getting booked for local shows quite soon, in 1989. The band was packing venues wherever they played, with their style based on highly harmonized choruses, keyboard infusions all over, catchy refrains and a pumping rhythm section... pure U.S. Melodic Rock of the highest level!
Mainly influenced by the music of Journey (Raised On Radio-era), it was around this time that QUADRA NIXX sparked interest from EMI Records, who quickly wanted to sign them to a deal. Unfortunately Grunge music came into the picture and destroyed all of their dreams of fame and glory. The band never recovered and split up.
What they left is a fantastic lot of amazing arena-style, high-energy Melodic Rock songs, that will be featured on this unique CD collection!
QUADRA NIXX is a fun trip back to the late 80's / early 90's, top-notch U.S. Hard-Rock, for fans of bands such as JOURNEY, TNT, TRIUMPH and EXTREME!
