After the release of the "BROTHERS In BOOGIE"-album 2 years ago, which has been enthusiastically received by fans and critics alike, and the equally impressive Live Blu Ray "The BOOGIE BROTHERS live in concert" from June 2017, PILEDRIVER consistently continue their way into independence with their latest and fourth album "ROCKWALL". Brilliantly crafted classic rock, which is presented in an authentic, straightforward and song oriented manner, defines the powerful sound of the band in 2018 and shows all the more clearly that the guys have now found their "signature sound". After more than 20 years of history, PILEDRIVER have now started the audible proof with "ROCKWALL", that they could finally free themselves from the shackles of a Status Quo Tribute Band and now stand "on their own feet".

So the new album with "Rockers Rollin ?" contains a Quo song that can be understood as a homage to Rick Parfitt, but which fits perfectly into the overall picture and makes "ROCKWALL" all the rounder. The thirteen tracks alternate rousing rock'n'roll hits like "Sparks" and stadium rock anthems à la "Stomp" with sensitive ballads ("For Freedom And Friends") and wonderfully relaxed songs like the grandiose floating "Farewell", making the album a celebration for rock fans. For the official and grandiosen sound provided again no lesser than Stefan Kaufmann, who as
producer brought in his decades of experience as an ex-accept drummer and U.D.O. guitarist, so that the result doesn't have to shy away from comparison with top international productions. On the current PILEDRIVER album, Stefan Kaufmann has also taken the drummer's place; he is responsible for all drum tracks. For friends of the Solingen steel forge, too, the motto is: "Grab it!
