Dawson, Oliver - Saxon Blood And Thunder Live

2014, Oliver Dawnson Saxon, the British heavy metal band featuring founding Saxon members Graham Oliver and Steve Dawson, release a new live album, BLOOD AND THUNDER LIVE. The CD was recorded on tour in Europe and features eight previously unreleased live tracks. After spending a few years battling with Biff Byford and Paul Quinn over the Saxon name, Oliver and Dawson reached a settlement in 2003 with the members of the original band Saxon over the usage of the name and logos belonging to the original partnership. Formed in the late ´90s, Oliver Dawnson Saxon previously recorded and released an album called RE-LANDED, which got a limited release on a local label. Recorded on tour in Germany in 2013 BLOOD AND THUNDER LIVE showcases a band that over the past 14 years has been touring relentlessly, playing to audience's small and large, clubs and festivals alike delivering hard rock music to their fans all over the world.
