Description
NERVOSA unleash another furious storm with their new album, Slave Machine, released on April 3, 2026, via Napalm Records. On their sixth album, the musicians propel their modern thrash metal forward with breathtaking speed and impressive force. After playing the world's biggest metal festivals, from Wacken to Hellfest, impressing fans and critics alike, NERVOSA solidify their status as genre favorites. Their previous album, Jailbreak (2023), established founding guitarist Prika Amaral as the new frontwoman; now they wield Slave Machine like a sledgehammer through the scene. Once again created in collaboration with Martin Furia of German legends DESTRUCTION, Slave Machine boldly bridges the gap between old-school power and critical modernity.
With twelve new tracks, the quintet expands their crushing style. The opener, "Impending Doom," builds menacingly: thunderous riffs and crisp drums underscore the musicians' dominance in the scene. The title track then picks up the pace, adding a surprisingly alternative-tinged bridge to an already catchy chorus - a new side of the thrash icons. "Ghost Notes" unleashes a storm of fierce, instantly recognizable riffs, driven by pounding drums and Prika Amaral's furious vocals, crowned by an impressive guitar solo. In "Beast Of Burden," NERVOSA showcase their harshest side, while "You Are Not A Hero" delivers a genuine anthem from Slave Machine with its magnificent chorus. "Hate" demonstrates raw brutality, while "The New Empire" strives for destruction with melodic precision. "30 Seconds" reaches dizzying heights, and in "Crawl For Your Pride," NERVOSA deliver their signature social commentary with hard-hitting lyrics. In "Learn Or Repeat" and "The Call," the band infuses some modern groove with old-school vibes before Slave Machine makes one last stand with the menacingly dark "Speak In Fire."
With their latest album, NERVOSA erupt like a metal volcano. Never satisfied, always searching for something new, one overwhelming riff after another - Slave Machine is an uncompromising statement: It comes, it sees, and it conquers.
