For the recordings of the fifth album, Patrick W. Engel was again in charge, because as a former band member he knows exactly how the band ticks. The lyrics deal with religious fanaticism, war atrocities, propaganda and the consequences for the people. Musically, the band has been following the path they have taken since the "Gotteskrieger" album: The tempo still varies, but overall they are a bit faster than on the previous albums.
