Description

In summer 2016 the guitar virtuoso JEFF BECK celebrated the 50th year of his extraordinary career with an equally extraordinary concert in the famous Hollywood Bowl. With incredible live versions of For Your Love, Beck's Bolero, 'Cause We've Ended As Lovers, Big Block, Over Under Sideways Down, A Day In The Life, Blue Wind and others, JEFF BECK literally exploded the stage. In addition, there was an overwhelming list of legendary guest musicians, including legends such as Steven Tyler (Aerosmith), Billy F. Gibbons (ZZ Top), Jan Hammer, singer Beth Hart, singer and harmonica icon Jimmy Hall and the great bluesman Buddy Guy.

The concert at the Hollywood Bowl presents his long and exciting musical journey from the early Yardbirds songs to his 2016 album Loud Hailer. During the concert top-class colleagues such as Steven Tyler, Billy F. Gibbons, Buddy Guy, Jimmy Hamm, Jan Hammer and Beth Hart came on stage to celebrate his anniversary together with him. The highlight of the show was the encore with a touching homage to Prince, who died a few months before the concert. During the performance of Purple Rain all guests were together on stage.

Live At The Hollywood Bowl is a brilliant document about JEFF BECK's extraordinary musicality and his unique history as a musician.
