2004, FATE was founded in 1985 by former MERCYFUL FATE guitarist Hank Sherman with former MAXIM vocalist Jeff Lox Limbo, bassist/keyboardist Pete Steiner and drummer Bob Lance. 3 weeks after they first met as FATE - they had a record contract! In 1986 they released their untitled debut guested by Michael Denner (ex KING DIAMOND/MERCYFUL FATE) and produced by long-time MERCYFUL FATE engineer Henrik Lund. During their carreer the band had a lot of line-up changes, released "Matter Of Attitude", "Cruisin' for a bruisin'" and returned in a revitalised version in 1990 with the album "Scratch'n Sniff". The long time ago sold out debut album "A Matter Of Attitude" is now re-released and remastered on MTM CLASSIX and features two unreleased bonus tracks. The re-release is accompanied by a live show the first time after many years on the DEEP IMPACT Open Air festival in Munich in July and FATE will announce their comeback!
