Description
HARSH are the new rising stars of the hard rock scene. The band from Paris revives the traditional sound with a modern touch and catchy melodies. Their songs and live performances captivate with theatricality, coupled with a gripping atmosphere that creates a strong connection with the audience. Born from a deep friendship, the band masters the challenge of combining musical power with profound emotions.
Following the success of their debut album "Out Of Control" (2022) and more than 300 shows played, including tours with THE NEW ROSES, ANVIL, and CHRIS HOLMES (ex-WASP) across Europe and the UK, the French band is ready to release their second new album, "Feels," via Fireflash Records (WOLF, FURIES, ROCK JUSTICE, etc.) and bring their own brand of hard rock to every fan they encounter. "We are incredibly excited to be working with Fireflash Records to make the next chapter of Harsh more exciting than ever," the band commented. "We have a lot of our personalities to pour into the music, many stories and feelings," said the band, who offered a glimpse into the album. "For this album, we wanted to express our feelings and share them with the audience. When it came to choosing a name for the album, 'Feels' felt completely natural."
Hannes Braun, lead singer of KISSIN' DYNAMITE, mixed and mastered the new album. A perfect combination. "Working with Hannes Braun is like a dream come true for us. We love the music and sound of Kissin' Dynamite, and Hannes knows exactly how to bring out the best in each of our tracks. It was exciting and inspiring to work with him," adds frontman and guitarist Albert. The final result speaks for itself and brings joy to the listener, which is more important than ever these days. "For us, music is about expressing our feelings and building a strong connection with the listener, both on and off stage. That means everything to us."
The lyrics on "Feels" generally deal with life and things the four members experience or go through, stories they want to hear and share.
"On this album, we explore a wide range of feelings, simple ones like falling in love or breaking up, but also mixed emotions that are harder to express and are often ignored. It's about guilt, the need to find your place and your identity, helping someone who is grieving, but also what connects us: friendship."
The band has big plans, and they have the songs to go with them. The energetic "Fuel To The Fire" and their cover of the 80s classic "Maniac" have already been released, and the new single and video for "Back To Life" will be released on April 3rd. "Our next goal is to make 'Feels' just as unforgettable for others as it is for us, and we can't wait to meet our community around the world live."
