Glitterati Are You One Of us

2010, There was a lot of hype circling this band when they first appeared. The second album is normally a good way to tell if it was justified or not. On the evidence of ARE YOU ONE OF US?, this is a band you'd be a fool to ignore. The album has its ups and downs, but the best songs really are brilliant. The sound is sleaze-infused rock'n'roll that's as up tempo as a drum kit falling down a mountainside. The performances and production are all first class, but it's the quality of the songs that really hits home. It's modern, relevant, and irritatingly cool. The Glitterati have already risen and fallen once and they are definitely on the way upwards again.
