Exodus Persona Non Grata

When we think of the phrase "bounded by blood", we think of two things: a brotherhood that shall endure the trials of war, pain and time... and the almighty "EXODUS". With a bond forged in youth and decades of friendship, the undisputed masters of thrash metal return with their eleventh studio album, "PERSONA NON GRATA" "PERSONA NON GRATA" literally means "an unwelcome" or "unacceptable" person and touches on themes of current social exclusion and humiliation. "The people who disgust you - cut them out like a boil," explains guitarist Gary Holt. The underlying irony of many of these songs is the need for unity. "While we were working on these songs, things were happening all over the world that ultimately had to do with this, and we didn't even know it!" he says. With the general division in the country today, and everyone is entitled to their opinion; I don't agree with a lot of them, but I'm also not here to be a preacher. We want people to listen to the lyrics and develop their own meanings." The songwriting for this album was done in their own 3 home-recording studios, then it went to Andy Sneap for the usual perfect production and then Steve Lagudi did the final mastering.
