20 years after their founding and a full 15 years after their last studio album, DRAGONSFIRE make an impressive comeback. With their new album "Rebirth Of The Beast," produced by Rolf Munkes (CREMATORY), the Hessian heavy metal institution proves that they have lost none of their power, passion, and class--quite the opposite: DRAGONSFIRE are stronger than ever. Founded in 2005, the band quickly made a name for themselves in the underground metal scene with the EP Burning For Metal and through joint appearances with major artists such as MYSTIC PROPHECY, CAGE, and WIZARD. Their debut album, Visions of Fire, was released in 2008 on Pure Steel Records--the starting point for a turbulent band history full of highs and lows. Despite numerous lineup changes and serious setbacks--including the tragic, unexpected death of singer and bassist Torsten "Thassilo" Herbert--DRAGONSFIRE has always remained combative. Today, guitarist Matthias Bludau, the last remaining founding member, leads a newly formed band ready to carry on the legacy - loud, uncompromising, and full of energy.
