2006, There are only few people in the music business, who can look back on such an impressive professional career as TOMMY DENANDER. The list of artists Tommy played with reads like the WHO IS WHO of Rock. Journalists compared him to EDDIE VAN HALEN and ERIC CLAPTON. Tommy is considered one of the best session musicians in Sweden's top elite. In 1987, he went to Los Angeles for three years to get more experience and to get in touch with top-notch musicians and song-writers, who immediately agreed to do recordings with Tommy: Jeff Porcaro, Mike Porcaro, Steve Porcaro, David Paich, David Hungate, Bobby Kimball, Fergie Frederiksen, Joseph Williams, Fee Waybill, Greg Phillinganes, David Foster and many others. The project DEACON STREET originally started out with Tommy and his partner Chris Demming (AOR, Spin Gallery), who had written songs together for various artists and found themselves with a lot of very good but unused AOR / melodic rock songs. But, as Tommy points out, "Don't mistake it for a cheap and fast way to get some leftover songs out - If you're a serious fan of classy melodic rock you won't be disappointed with the quality of this release".
