Dark Sky Once

Founded as a school band in Rottweil in the early eighties, DARK SKY's career really took off in the mid-nineties. The album "Believe It" is released, which is especially successful in Southeast Asia, and especially in Malaysia. In 2002 the second album "Edge Of Time" was released, with which they also released in this country bigger to get attention. Living & Dying" and "Empty Faces" followed, which showed the band in a somewhat harder sound, but without giving up catchy melodies and choruses. 2012 "Initium" is a concept album directed by regular producer Markus Teske (e.g. VANDEN PLAS, SYMPHONY X) in the Bazement Studios. The sound has been made a little harder, more modern and progressive without neglecting the typical band trademarks.

Unfortunately the band could only play very few concerts to the album due to personal obligations. A concert took place in 2015 in the supporting programme of the Swedish superstars EUROPE, which was recorded for the current CD and DVD. Mixed again by Markus Teske the first DARK SKY Live CD and DVD is available here. The CD has been replaced by 6 new high class studio tracks. Among them a cover version of the Pia Zadora classic "When The Rain Begins To Fall". DARK SKY is better than ever and again ready to enter all stages of the world with new songs and well-known hits and to really attack again. For November 2018 a European tour with the Swedish Melodic Rockers TREAT is already booked!
