Before Nashville became everybody's Music City, four guys from Bowling Green, Kentucky, were making noise on their own terms. DADDY LONG LEG built its reputation the old-fashioned way: loud guitars, packed clubs, local radio, and songs made to explode onstage. Eddie Vincint, Mike Thompson, Greg Walker, and Fenner Castner became fixtures at Picasso's and Thursday's Bar.
Producer David Barrick captured the band as audiences heard them: live, raw, and stripped of excess. Hoodledoins is four musicians in a room, letting chemistry carry the weight. Think Tesla's blue-collar swagger, Cinderella's grit, and the melodic muscle of Badlands, dusted with Kentucky dirt.
More than three decades later, Hoodledoins returns as a snapshot of a band in flight. No hired guns. No studio trickery. Just DADDY LONG LEG - and one hell of a rock 'n' roll time capsule.
