With groundbreaking rock milestones such as the 1994 Sixteen Stone (6-fold platinum), the 1996 Razorblade Suitcase (3-fold platinum) and the 1999 platinum album The Science Of Things, Bush has sold more than 20 million records in the United States and Canada alone to date. In addition, the group has no fewer than 18 consecutive Top 40 hit singles in the modern rock and mainstream charts, including eleven Top 5 hits and six No. 1 hits, Comedown , Glycerine , Machinehead , Swallowed , The Chemicals Between Us and The Sound Of Winter, the latter making rock radio history as the first ever self-published Top 1 song on Alternative Radio, where it was the number one track for six weeks. The song was featured on the 2011 comeback album The Sea Of Memories, which brought Bush back into the spotlight after a ten-year hiatus. In the same year, Billboard published an article about the band under the headline Like they never left - a fitting title, as the multiplatinum quartet (vocalist/songwriter/guitarist Gavin Rossdale, guitarist Chris Traynor, bassist Corey Britz and drummer Nik Hughes) seamlessly picked up where they left off before the break.
