In a scene dominated by heavy metal, BOA broke through with a sound that was sharper, richer, and built to last. Fusing the melody and precision of Foreigner, Styx, Journey, and Triumph with the fire of '80s hard rock such as Blue Tears, Bon Jovi, and Europe. BOA delivered songs powered by their unmistakable four-part vocal attack - Mike Alberta's commanding lead, Tullio's soaring highs, Jon-Paul Royer's thunderous low harmonies, and Dean Mahalick rounding out the vocal fullness..
Early collaboration with acclaimed producer Bob St. John (Extreme) helped shape a polished, high-impact sound that ignited sold-out shows, critical praise, and major regional buzz. Renowned for explosive live performances and razor-sharp musicianship, BOA headlined iconic venues like The Channel, Avalon, and Paradise Rock Club, while sharing stages with Extreme, White Lion, L.A. Guns, KIX, and so many more. All Wrapped Up captures why BOA was one of Boston's most talked-about rising hard rock bands; a long-anticipated melodic rock triumph, fusing soaring vocals, razor-sharp riffs, and the kind of hooks that define a generation.
