The Ardarith Project
5 singers, 11 musicians, one story - the project Ardarith (a neologism of Tolkien's Arda - the world and "Spirit" the spirit) takes the listener on the debut album "Home" on a search for what "home" means to us. The main character "Me" (Rob Lundgren) is accompanied on his search by 4 emotions: Hope (Alina Lesnik), Despair (Daniel de Jongh), Guilt (Liv Jagrell) and Memory (Alexander Göhs) - a common path, away from "home", towards himself.
The music
The turmoil of the main character is underlined by the music: progressive metal intertwined with calm synthesizer sounds and classical instruments like violin, piano and flute create an intense, suspenseful journey for ear, heart and mind.
Almost without classical song structures, a wave is created that carries you through the most diverse facets of the album from the first plucking of the guitar to the massive finale where "Me" finds an answer for itself.
