When it comes to virtues such as the ability to suffer, unconditional devotion and down-to-earthness, Anvil are the measure of all things. Since their 2009 documentary film The Story Of Anvil, which reveals the unvarnished truth of business, the world knows that most musicians' day-to-day business is not about MTV awards, Grammy awards, red carpets, champagne and caviar, but mainly about exhausting ox tours with little sleep, unhealthy food and low salaries. It's these difficult conditions that have made Anvil what it is today: an immovable rock in the surf of a music genre made by fans for fans. And yet the new album is a very special one for Anvil: "On Legal At Last it's all about two things," Reiner explains. "We're celebrating the legalization of the Anvil bong, fans have always known it, but for many years the general public treated us like villains. Legal At Last is our way of saying to the public, 'It's okay, Anvil's okay, you can like us now!
