Stylistically, Ambush are very close to Swedish groups like Screamer, Enforcer or RAM, but their real heroes are Judas Priest and Accept. In 2015, "Desecrator" was the second album by Ambush, which has now found a worthy successor in the form of "Infidel". "Writing a new Ambush album is an extremely difficult task for us every time," says singer Oskar Jacobsson. "On the one hand, our goal is to record a traditional sounding heavy metal album with the vibe of the pioneers from the seventies and eighties. On the other hand, the material should be unique in order to be relevant to the current scene. I think very well that with "Infidel" we have succeeded in making a good heavy metal album and that people will love it".
