Alien When Yesterday Comes Around

Formed in Gothenburg, Sweden, the band quickly gained recognition both at home and abroad and has built a legacy of strong albums and unforgettable live shows. Alien's self-titled debut album, released in 1988, brought their melodic hard rock style to global attention and established the Swedes as one of the standout bands of the late 80s hard rock scene. "Only One Woman", one of Alien's most well-known songs with almost 6 million plays on Spotify alone, became a massive hit, reaching gold status in Sweden and dominating the radio charts there. The song was also very successful internationally, receiving frequent play on radio stations in Europe, the US and Japan, putting the band in the global spotlight. Since then, Alien has released several albums, most recently "Into the future" in 2020, which received positive reviews for its modern approach to the band's established style while still staying true to their melodic rock roots.
In 2025, the band will make their comeback with the brand new album "When Yesterday Comes Around". Here, the band takes listeners back to a glorious time, but with a cutting-edge sound. Alien will play at the Sweden Rock Festival on June 4th and go on a South American tour in the fall. In a career spanning over three decades, the formation has evolved and remains a vital force in rock music. Their characteristic sound, a distinctive blend of melodic hard rock and AOR, has earned them a place among Sweden's most consistent and popular rock bands.
