"Supergroup" is a term that has worn out quite a bit over the years. Throwing some people from different bands into a new project doesn't automatically make it "great". A New Revenge define the term as it should be. A supergroup whose members have more than earned their legendary status but still remain modest enough to let the music speak for itself and convince. The band consists of one of the greatest voices in metal of our time, Tim "Ripper" Owens (whose voice is on albums by Judas Priest, Iced Earth and Yngwie Malmsteen), one of the most versatile guitarists Keri Kelli (Slash's Snake Pit, Alice Cooper, Vince Neil Band and countless more), the now iconic bassist Rudy Sarzo (Ozzy Osbourne, Dio, Whitesnake) and the long-time Scorpions drummer James Kottak (also known from Montrose, Warrant, Kingdom Come and many other bands). A New Revenge is definitely bigger than the sum of its parts, even though the parts are quite impressive. The foursome is an explosive combination that merges all the qualities of the individual members into a whole, and the band will tour the USA in 2019 and set course for Europe later this year.
