Undertow Reap The Storm

UNDERTOW present themselves on their new album "Reap The Storm" fresher and more energetic than ever. The musical change offered the possibility to develop further, to discover new abilities and of course to exploit them consistently. For the first time they experiment more intensively with longer guitar solos and two-voiced parts, the bass contributes more than ever with the sophisticated drumming to the constant foundation of the sound. Together with the outstanding vocals the partly socially critical, partly personal songs again show a clear increase of the band's spectrum. Energy, catchiness, melody and aggressiveness, which have always been a trademark of UNDERTOW, move a bit more clearly into the foreground.

The songs were produced and mixed for the fifth time in collaboration with Roger Grüninger at the
Studio 141 in Schwäbisch Hall, who was also responsible for the predecessors "Don't Pray To The Ashes" and "In Deepest Silence" (Rock Hard Platz 1 & 3 / Metal Hammer 2 & 3). Also in mastering nothing was left to chance and they used the services of Achim Köhler (Amon Amarth, Sodom, Accept, Primal Fear, Brainstorm ...). Cover and booklet were again designed by Björn Gooßes @ Killustrations (Sodom, Dew Scented, Hackneyed, Kvelertak, ...).
