Description

Suede are pleased to announce the release of their eighth studio album "The Blue Hour". Produced and mixed by Alan Moulder at Assault & Battery Studios, "The Blue Hour" follows on from the 2016 release, critically acclaimed by the famous LP "Night Thoughts", which came 6th in the English charts and 31st in the German charts and was accompanied by a film.

"The Blue Hour" is a multi-layered, ambitious work, which - like "Night Thoughts" - was written as a coherent whole, divided into fourteen individual, thematically connected songs. With the album, Suede also complete a triptych of albums that began with their reintroduction and the album "Bloodsports" released in 2013. The new album also includes themes from Brett Anderson's recently released memoirs "Coal Black Mornings".

In addition, Suede on "The Blue Hour" are as progressive as ever and once again explore new tonal realms, including a choir and spoken word on the album, string arrangements by Suede's Neil, and a new album of the "Coal Black Mornings".
Codling and in a song ("The Invisibles") by Craig Armstrong, who collaborated with the band on their album "Coming Up" in 1996 and is known for his work on films such as "Romeo + Juliet" and "The Bone Hunter". The famous Prague Philharmonic played a formative role in the recordings of the 14 tracks.
