"Once", NIGHTWISH's fifth studio album, which saw the light of day on June 7, 2004, completely changed the metal world and made the band living legends.
Today, NIGHTWISH pay tribute to the masterpiece they gave to the world 17 years ago and announce the re-release of "Once" as a remastered version with bonus tracks in the different formats.
Maestro Tuomas Holopainen comments: "Nostalgia is a strong feeling. It's not hard for me to remember the days around the release of the album. The excitement, the ambition, the camaraderie, the glorious tour behind us, all that was ready to take the band to a new level, musically and humanly.

The album achieved number one placements in the German, Finnish, Norwegian and Greek album charts and reached triple platinum status in Finland for more than 90,000 CDs sold, triple gold status in Germany for more than 300,000 CDs sold and gold status in Switzerland, Austria and Norway.
